Our community is devoted to the exploration of the Islamic Tradition. Muslims and non-Muslims of all denominations are welcome to participate in our discussions to develop a more profound understanding of the spiritual and intellectual heritage of Islam and thereby become better equipped to deal with the various difficulties of living a life devoted to God within the modern world. In the words of Seyyed Hossein Nasr, "... to present the traditional wisdom of Islam in contemporary language, to answer the questions posed by the work of orientalists, to provide an answer to the challenges of modernism, to bring about closer understanding between the different groups of Muslims, and finally to provide a dialogue between Islam and other religions is a momentous undertaking. It calls into play all the intellectual resources of the Islamic world."
